The Project Management Group is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) in the College of Applied Sciences and Arts, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and is open to all colleges within the University. PMG is dedicated to advancing the practice, science, and profession of project management in a conscious and proactive manner. The purposes of the PMG shall include the following: (1) To advance the practice and profession of project management. (2) To encourage and facilitate education, certification, and professionalism in project management. (3) To provide a forum for discussion and examination of problems, solutions, applications, and ideas related to the management of projects. (4) To disseminate information regarding developments in project management.
